He is appreciated for his calm, clear and practical manner of presenting the Buddhadharma. Gustavo began practicing meditation in 2007 at Vajradhara Meditation Center in Brooklyn, NY, where he served as the Administrative Director and taught classes in Park Slope and Prospect Heights. Born and raised in Miami, FL, Gustavo returned to South Florida in 2010 and is currently serving as the Treasurer at Drolma Buddhist Center.

Jack Schneider

In 1999 Jack realized that in the same way he needed teachers to study external subjects like electrical engineering he needed teachers to be able to study internal subject like meditation. He has been practicing Kadampa Buddhism since then. He is also the President of our Board of Directors. He has an especially clear mind, understanding the profundities of Buddha’s subtle teachings, and a meditative approach to teaching and spiritual practice. A long-term member of our Teacher Training Program, he loves the blissful nature of the Dharma, and delights in sharing this with others. He will be teaching a series of classes in Deerfield Beach in May, hopefully with more classes there to come.

Livan Sanchez

is studying on our Foundation Program class in Miami, and is a devoted disciple of Kadampa Buddhism. He teaches our Doral class in Spanish on Thursday nights, and has a wife and family in Miami Beach. Livan is a powerful and inspiring teacher with the ability to encourage and motivate students along the spiritual path.

Malerie Bleich

has been traveling the spiritual path for many years, and is a sincere practitioner of Kadampa Buddhism. She is currently teaching the Wednesday Lunchtime Meditation class at our main location in Ft Lauderdale, as well as occasional day courses on Saturdays. Malerie is well-loved by students for her down-to-earth approach and unpretentious manner, as well as for the clarity and accessible analogies she uses to bring Buddha’s teachings to light.

Shelli Snyder

has been a faithful and loving presence in our Teacher Training Program class for many years now. Her teachings are characterized by a softness and gentle, balanced understanding that gives students the power to develop their own understandings and insights. She occasionally teaches the Sunday morning Prayers for World Peace class in Fort Lauderdale, as well as classes at branch locations.

Tatiana Buonassisi

is an active member of our Foundation Program, and a sincere practitioner of Kadampa Buddhism who will be teaching a series of classes on addiction & attachment, in Wilton Manors during May and June. Tatiana shows an inspiring example of commitment to her Dharma practice, as well as to helping the center, where she is currently volunteering as Meditation Room Manager, and soon-to-be Education Program Coordinator. Tatiana’s teachings are very clear and practical, demonstrating a deep knowledge and insight into the subject matter, as well as the ability to communicate practical application to others in an accessible way.
