Buddhist Tantra, or Vajrayana, is a holy practice of meditation and mantra recitation; it is a quick path to enlightenment, for the benefit of others. Once we understand how this precious meditative technology harnesses the power of faith and imagination to ripen our Buddha Nature swiftly, we will develop great enthusiasm for correct Tantric practice. May 23 – June 6
at the Pride Center, 2040 North Dixie Highway, Wilton Manors, Room 206

Attachment is one of our most insidious and pervasive delusions, lurking in our minds almost all the time. It leads to craving and addiction, making us feel like we have to have something outside ourselves to make us happy. Actually, there is no happiness in the contaminated cycle of attachment, but only suffering. We need to remember our suffering so that we don’t return to it, and to see that there is another way so that we can clean our mind and create a life of freedom. ($7/class or $16/series)

meditation classes w/ western Buddhist teacher Jack Schneider
at Anuttara Yoga, 620 SE 10th St, Deerfield Beach

How much time and energy do we waste getting angry when things do not go our way? Maybe we do not act on our anger, but it still continues to eat away at us from inside, giving us no peace or satisfaction. Anger comes in many forms, but fortunately it is not that difficult to overcome, if we learn the right methods. By controlling our impulsive urge to retaliate, and then learning to see things from a different perspective, we can free ourselves from all the suffering anger causes. $10/class or $23/series
